Big Door is always looking at new work from architects, builders, and designers whose projects reflect the craft, ambition, and attention to detail our readers care about.
Submissions are reviewed for coverage across Big Door's print edition, website, and social channels. Every submission gets looked at. Selected projects are featured in print, published as digital articles, or shared with our audience across our channels.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Big Door covers custom residential and commercial architecture where design, craft, and execution come together at a high level. We're drawn to projects that demonstrate thoughtful use of materials, considered detailing, and architectural ambition, with particular interest in the role of doors, windows, and openings in the overall design.
Work doesn't need to be new or exclusive to Big Door. We're open to projects anywhere in the world. Submissions from architects, builders, and designers are welcome.
WHAT TO INCLUDE
Project Photography
Professional photography is preferred. High-quality amateur photography may also be acceptable. Please share at least five to ten images.
Project Details
Location, completion date, square footage, and any distinguishing features or materials worth noting.
Team Credits
Architect, builder, designer, and any key collaborators. We credit every project in full.
Brief Project Description
Two to three paragraphs describing the project, your intent, and anything that makes the work notable.
